Small in car tool kit

I've been wanting to get a small compact tool kit for my car for some time but I can't really find what I'm looking for.

I don't want a solid box as I'd like to try and slot it in behind one of the seats. So a little flat bag or something that can be rolled up with be good.

Just needs to contain a few essentials such as Allan keys, a handful of spanners, couple of screw drivers, etc.

Has anyone any recommendations please?
 
What about under the seats? Some sort of tool roll might work well!

The M has a little one in the back under the battery cover area. Not sure if a non M has one anywhere?
 
Under the seat would be good. I've taken up any space near the battery with an amp. There is a small kit that fits along side there which I have bit it's a little too basic
 
Might be worth fitting a second first aid box under the driver's seat and storing the tools there - easy enough to pick the tools you want and knock up a fabric roll to keep them tidy and rattle-free
 
You might find something like your talking about at a Harley dealership or other motorcycle shop. I've seen small rollup toolsets for bikes before.
 
I have a simple tool roll in mine with a few basic bits and pieces and wouldn't be without it. It will fit easily behind the seats or in the poverty holes where the speakers should be ( :cry: ) and just gives you a little piece of mind for those long drives to remote places. I keep mine wrapped up in a blanket in the boot as I am a bit OCD about protecting the carpet and trim but you might find some with a Velcro backing to stop it rattling around.

you should be able to pick one up in any motor factors or DIY place but failing that I can't imagine they'll cost much on eBay.
 
Yep, the older Harley's vibrated so much (solid mounted motors and such) you had to stop and tighen bolts all the time or stuff just started falling off LOL. The newer models are a lot better, I don't have a tool kit on my 07 Wide Glide, but with the ole Shovelhead it is a must! Grin
 
More and more they are going metric, but yeah mostly. Kinda why I said other motoercycle shop, if the kit was bought from a harley shop you might have to swap out some wrenches.
