Small hole in top

Done a little searching but couldn't find any useful results. Does anyone know if this can be repaired? Thanks in advance!!!

That looks like it's been caught on part of the folding metal frame parts. I don't believe it can be mended and it's a new roof job. You look to have some other wear spots forming and that bulge for the frame underneath doesn't look too good. It's always a lot smoother but then could just the angle.
 
Not sure how it happened. Just picked the car up this past weed end. I saw it when we were looking over it and used it as leverage when negotiating a price. We bought it cheap enough to replace the top but I thought I would get some opinions before just shelling out. I tried to look it over as it folds up but everything looks clear and it operates smooth. I think the bulge in the frame is normal, I believe it is just the angle but I will certainly look into it. Thanks!!
 
You can get that mended... I have seen people here who have had malicious cuts made to their roof and had them mended to the point where you cant notice it from a meter or so away.

If you want it perfect though its a new roof... So you are looking at upwards of £1k.... Hope you got a very good discount for that then!!

I had these.

I went to BMW at Chigwell and they ended up replacing the whole roof and I only had to pay £150. They said it was a fault with the roof.
