Small flap part number?

I need some help finding the part number for the small flaps that are in front of the wheels. I believe they are for aerodynamics. Not the mud flap behind the wheels.

I think you'll find they are integral to the trim they're attached to... Have a look on realoem.com - put all you model details in and you can then browse a huge number of exploded diagrams that give pretty much all the part numbers for your car.

Yea I tried that before I posted the question here. I guess that the flap is part of item number 1 in the drawing?

Odd this, only today got a quote for the nearside one at a local dealership as mine is cracked (item no 6 above).........£87 plus VAT, needless to say I shall be repairing mine somehow, I was blissfully aware that it was broken before I took the bumper off & so whatever repair I make - crude or otherwise will be better than how it is now.

That's ridiculous - and can't be right. I got exactly this part - number 6 - plus the engine undertray for about £120, incl VAT but with a 10% discount as the chap fitting it bought it through his business. Always, always go to Sopers Lincoln if you are in the UK.

I know - I was taken aback, in my mind I thought it could be no more than £20-£25 max.

Email sent to Sopers earlier this afternoon, along with prices for a ZHP, multifunction SW buttons retro fit & a couple of other bits'n'bobs...

I wish it was a part common to the E46, I'd be rummaging at the scrappies for one at the weekend

Just checked my receipt...The lower cover was £18.46 excl. VAT. The undertray was £66 excl. VAT, the rest of my bill was bolts and clips to fit it all on the car. Including VAT it was about £118 for the lot, then discounted for trade. And that was from my local BMW dealer, Arden. Either you've given them the wrong part number or they've put it in the computer wrong. Or they're taking the piss. Seriously, speak to Sopers - with all the right fittings you'll be looking at what, £40 ?

I got one last year... From soper same as bing under £20.

If its over that price then they must be including the thermometer which is on the passenger side.

I got a printed estimate from yesterday, it shows the same part number as no6 on the realoem screengrab, look at the dollar price for it now @ $158

I'll await what Sopers say today.

Yeah, just ignore the prices on realoem - they have never matched anything I've bought. Which is weird, but true.

Ok folks, I'm sad to say that even Sopers price for this item is still way more than I intend to pay at £94 inc VAT, absolutely ridiculous price for a cheap plastic moulding, but fair play to Sopers for coming up with a better price than my local dealership.

I can only imagine that BMW could see a little money spinner in this, especially as it can be easily damaged given its location on the car.

Edit...I've emailed back & asked to make sure that the price at £94 doesn't include the temp sensor.
