Time for the family tip-wagon to be sold - actually making room for another zed by selling this!

Little bargain for someone! If you'd come to mine two weeks ago, I'd have had that over the Ka!

It'll have been a cat C write off, as the logbook is only endorsed for a Cat C and above, and Cat B's and A's cannot be returned to the road as the logbooks are destroyed and you cannot get a replacement from DVLA.

However, that doesn't mean it has been badly damaged. We had a Touran a few years ago that some prat backed into out of a car parking space whilst I was stationary. Dented tailgate and marked bumper, however, even though it was only 10 years old, they cat C'd it as the cost of repairs using NEW parts was more than the value of the car.

Cat B's are often no more damaged than Cat D's, it's down to the cost of new parts, so they are often repaired using used body panels. After inspecting it, I wouldn't be put off buying a D or C, but then again, I know what to look for..

Well written ad though you two!

And come on, what have you bought??

Surely not ANOTHER Porker

Mike

EDIT..

Yup, cat C

Kris's dad has bought a 2004 2.2i zed as a toy car ;-) I'm not sure I take kindly to it replacing the 'tip car' though - zeds are way better than that!!!

we had one of these a couple of years ago, also as a tip car. Kept it for 18 months then gave it to my wife sister. that was 4 years ago and its still going great.

124k i think, serviced now and then, never washed or polished

just keeps on going

highly recommended, GLWTS
