Small appearance upgrade in the engine compartment

Hello everyone,

I'm not sure if it's common knowledge, but I realized the black BMW emblem on the plastic compartment cover is the same 74mm size used on 3 series models.

I ordered a 74mm 3 series trunk emblem and it looks 100% nicer.

It's easy to do and I created a video on the process.

Yes it's a popular mod over here.
If you cut the lugs off the back of the roundel and stick it on with clear silicone you don't have to drill holes in the original panel.
You get working time to get it in exactly the right position, mines been on 3 years and has never moved.
