sls v m coupe

been working this week at a big house sale in cornwall, absolutely crazy prices, ... a vase, 280k, a pr of vases 150k, different world. was having lunch in my van when i got a shock as a carbon black m coupe pulled up to collect something, identical to mine but looked like a daily driver as wheels were minging ! anyway, shortly afterwards a bright red sls pulls up, I was looking over it dreaming, and was surprised when the majority of the staff around preferred the M as they all thought the merc far too ostentasious. the m is pretty special I guess, made me smile. :D
 
I agree there is something very special about the looks of the M coupe without a doubt, it's rarity plays its part & I just love the overall shape, it looks the business to me. :)
 
in which case you should have gone for a previous pair that made 700k, then you could have had a couple of ferraris too. :thumbsup:
 
I've only got the 3.0 si coupe and since I've had it 4 random people have said to me "nice car".
Must be something about the coupe.....
 
agree, we all know the merc is in the supercar league but what surprised me was that non petolheads , not in the know dont automatically presume that the sls is the nicer car. reinforces that the m coupe is very special and punches above its weight and can hold its own in more exclusive company. :driving:
 
Been in the passenger seat of an sls round a track day and ..its a big big lump of car , the sound track is mental , but i'd rather have a black z4mc. Speaking of which , wife and I went into Leicester yesterday in the mc and down London rd passed two yes two coupe z's one blue and one silver , I nearly died , ok they weren't m's but to see a coupe is very special . And I saw a blue one on Fri when in the 7 , couldn't believe my luck . Like buses maybe ?? Edited to say , when you see a coupe you realise just how tear drop nice they are , especially the back which is the best part of the car !
