sloping driveway, bad for car?

Guys, probably a silly question but...

My driveway is at a considerable incline and I tend to park 'nose up'. Could this be causing any problems with the car?

I'm thinking particularly around oil in the sump not getting around the engine when the car is started as well as if the car was parked on a flat driveway. Where are the oil pickups in the sump? I'd hope BMW would have them at either side of the tank but I’m not sure.

Am I worrying unnecessarily?

I live on a hill fairly good gradient probably 20% never had a problem with any car my family have owned.

Had issues with a Saab Diesel, due to perished leak-off hoses allowing air in and fuel to drain back when parking nose up, but never heard of an issue with petrol engines?

The sump is quite deep, as long as the oil level is proper, there is no chance of oil starvation at any practical angle. It's also at the rear of the engine.

I've found my hood tends to let water sit around the back when nose up on a hill, this water then finds its way into the rear of the car and drips onto where the rear springs are, leaving puddles in the boot side compartments...

Would probably be more worried about water draining (or not) than the oil. Also I guess the clutch gets a work out every time you leave the drive.

OK guys, many thanks for the replies - it's put my mind at rest :)
