Slimline DVD player

I would like to install a DVD player. I found a slimline player that promises to play all kind of video formats and can be installed easily. I asked the supplier some questions, one of his answers was that music is played back not in stereo but mono.
Does someone know if this player can be used?

I can't read the auction but it seems odd that a DVD player would output audio in mono? Doesn't make any sense to me. Not a very helpful reply I know :oops:
 
From the photo, this seems to come with the video aux input cable needed to get A/V onto the nav screen. The reason you'd want mono audio is that the video aux input for the Z4 (I'm assuming it's the same as the E46 I used to own) only comes with a mono audio input. There are ways to get stereo audio with the video input but they're convoluted.

So, the fact that the dvd player has a mono output is probably a good thing in this instance.
