A couple of weeks ago I left my car parked at the side of the road for an hour, and when I came back some scumbag had attacked my drivers side mirror and left it twisted around facing backwards on the car. At the time I gently twisted it back round, and it seemed to pop back into place, I checked the electrics and tested it still folded/unfolded OK and it all seemed good.
So at the time I thought I'd got away with it, but since then I've noticed that whenever I fold the mirrors up, when I unfold them again the glass has moved and needs to be adjusted before I can drive. Before I start pulling it apart, I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue, or if anyone has an idea what might be wrong with it? It's a 06 M with folding electric mirrors.
