Just adding my my two pennies worth 
AWESOME FILM!!!
Every BOND film of recent times has been hyped to be great, and hmmm apart from Casino Royal there all trying to Re-capture the original BOND idea, which dont get me wrong, i enjoy watching them, but i find the older ones better.
With that said (my opinion is) The early BONDS in there time where New, fresh and cutting edge, full of action (with the ocassional tong in cheek moment). The reason SKYFALL is a so great is because its turned its back slightly from the past. Not totally, but it doesnt feel like a Timothy Dalton or Pierce Brosnan BOND Film, which alot is down to Sam Mendes (Director) bringing out more edgy emotion from the cast, its the character establishment that previously has been lacking and strong storyline along with the great action.
I really hope that Sam Mendes gets another shot at the next film and the MGM start the ball rolling on the next screen play along with Daniel Craig Bond is well and truly back as big and as great as ever before.
People will always tell you "Sean was the best bond" or "Roger Moore".... maybe maybe not, but times change! Daniel Craig has really left a massive impact and its him the younger generation will associate with BOND, and currently it looks like JAMES BOND will keep going and going strong
