SKYE MEET/RUN, 22nd/23RD AUGUST 2015.

I have just said that Zebedee should join us at the Green Welly if he fancies it as well. He's just got a gorgeous E89 back to Oban. It's a nice drive from Oban to Tynedrum.

:) Just got round to ordering the food! Been a difficult week as mother in law has been in high dependency ward at Edinburgh Royal so Mrs Mefi has been a bit stressed and feeling guilty about going away for the weekend, now she thinks she needs to escape from it all for a couple of days. Heres hoping the situation doesn't get any worse!
 
Hope things improve MefiEcosse. It is difficult to leave in this situation but can be the best thing for everyone to have a break sometimes. Just make the decision at the time.

Been through a similar time in the past.
 
Got an appointment with chiropractor next Sat at 09.50 in Perth,hopefully will be able to change that to an earlier time or I'll have to miss out.......depending on traffic it can be up to 90 mins from Perth to Green Welly.......update on Monday.
 
The real food cafe is good for fish and chips. I have often said some of the best fish and chips going but the car park us way smaller than the green Welly. Park at the Welly and if people can choose where they want to go to eat if at all.
 
Food ordered and car cleaned today, so mostly set here. I might get that massive scratch sorted this week too, and even put petrol in - first time since May 20th (had to go back and check my credit card statements for the last time :oops:)!
 
Also fuelled up tonight, car won't move now till Saturday but will get a quick wash Thursday or Friday night. :driving: :D
 
Mine is my daily driver so it will be lucky to get a pre meet wash but you never know!

Maybe quick wet and wipe! :|

I also fueled up tonight ready for our run up to Skye. Will be another tank or two before we get there though. Shame we can't get up there until Tuesday. Leave us some grub at the Sligachan. :wink:
 
Could only get a 09.30 appointment @ chiropractor on Sat morning so all being well I/we should be there for 11.30ish......but don't wait around just incase there's an issue for us whilst en-route.
 
Plan is leaving the Green welly at around 12 noon,so hopefully get you there,Highlander......already spoke to green welly 2/3weeks ago and its better if we are all in the one place for lunch/socialising point of view,and its a decent place to eat,from what i remember. See you all soon
 
Hi Everyone who is coming to this....
I had an e-mail from the Hotel re the Meal in the Restaurant on Friday night, they asked if every1 can get their meal orders to them asap, so they have an idea of whats needed i presume.

On that note, can any1 who hasn't e-mailed or phoned the Sligachan Hotel for our booking at 7pm(under Bolton) please let tem know what you are having asap Thanks...as they only have 11 out of 16 people that are expected, cheers
