Sky+, Sky+ HD help needed

Can you help! im running cables around my house for my sky+ box, can anyone tell me if the cables from the dish to the box
are the same for the sky+ and sky+ HD if i upgrade in the future.

Yep - I can confirm having spent ages running them via the loft to avoid a wire web on the house. Dish and cables are all the same.

Consider a second cable to a different part of the house if you ever plan on multi room, although these days it's probably easier to wi-fi it around the house.

Go for quad lnb and have the 4 cables so you can also link up a foxsat box if required.

If you are cabling away, a 30 meter HDMI cable is also useful to get the signal to a second tv set.
