I have the Sky "bend over and smile" package .......

Advertised in our local Mall at around 16 poonds a month I thought I would have some of that as it meant I would get the MOTO GP.

By the time it was in the house - and clicking on the options I wanted - it was now around 100 poonds a month, but no worry I would get the MOTO GP so I was ok with it ......

Then a while back I switched on to watch the MOTO GP and found out that it was gone and that I could only get it back by adding BT sport at another 20 poonds a month ....... which I did.

Then I find out that if I switched to BT then MOTO GP is included for free .....

Put the argument to the Ministry of Home Affairs for discussion and the motion was vetoed immediately

I'm thinking I probably need to SKY Q :rofl:

Dont want to start any more arguments in your house but you get BT sports along with Virgin media.

It makes for a flashy advert, but yeah I've never felt the need to pause a programme so I can keep watching it uninterrupted in another room - my flat is fairly small though so maybe it's more use in a big house or if the kids want to continue watching something as you go out.

I'd actually like this feature. Quite often me and the missus will be watching something downstairs, decided that we want to watch it upstairs. Would save me waiting for the adverts, running upstairs, turning TV on, turning the SKY box on, then finding the channel.

That's what puts me off with 4 HD boxes.. That, and the wireless in our house already having major speed issues with 20 odd devices connected..

WiFi speed or internet speed issues? If your WiFi is getting saturated then you could add another router just for TVs and PCs. If the WiFi is coping but it's bandwidth then set up another SSID and allocate a fixed amount of bandwidth to each.

Am on all that, we have 2 separate networks, a 2.4ghz and a 5ghz, with different devices allocated to each, and bandwidth throttling by device. But a 10mb connection (no cable, and fibre a year away) doesn't go far between 4 HD boxes, 5 smartphones, 5 tablets, 3 laptops, 3 XBox ones, a PC and the streaming from CCTV in the shop!

I have something similar but also use Cat6 around the house and my own Access Points as we have proper walls. Sky came out to install it but said the only wifi they could use was direct from the Sky router and that was too bad to use! No matter an AP was in the room the box was going they wouldn't install it and then it took weeks to get my money back.

Also the main box is 4k but the others are not.
