Ok a list of football leagues and championships this year on Sky, cant give times and dates and stuff as this is a weekly upload which is available on Sky's website.
Champions League - Premiership - FA Cup - Carling Cup(shared rights with BBC) - SPL - Scottish Cup (Proper Fitba
) - Championship - Football League - Scottish Home Internationals - ROI Home Internations - Wales Home International - European U21 Championship Finals - South American World Cup Qualifiers - Centenery Shield - Irish League - La Liga - Womans FA Cup - Copa Del Rey(this is the Spanish Cup) - Hyundai A-League - Masters Football? - As for England away Internationls, the rights are sold by the host association, i.e. if England play Germany in Germany the German FA (DFB) sell the rights to a UK broadcaster. Sky pretty much own most of these rights anyway as they have signed an agreement with most of the FA's across europe.
The world cup is on ITV and as earlier posted this will be available in HD (result).
Get a fair amount of matches on ESPN but that is a seperate subscription on top of Sky sports but if you have or take sky sports you get a slight discount on it, Worth it if you follow Bundas league.
Remember if you do take HD subscription from Sky it costs £10 p/m on top of your viewing subscription, again as posted earlier only really worth it if you have Movies or Sports package.
TBH Wondermike, if you do not existingly have an HD telly but are considering getting one, might be worthwhile having a look at the new realease HD 3D ready tellys as 3D is the next thing.
Hope some of this has been of help.
