Got this in the post, not asked for.

What is that for? I already have catch up on my HD box which is connected to the Internet so what would this box do what the standard sky box does not?

I had one of those on my old Sky HD+ to connect to my router as my Sky box didn't have Wi-Fi connection and I didn't want a cable running across half the house.

On Sky Q now and a much better experience with main box and mini box on a second TV. All wireless and viewable live or recorded on TV's or iPad

Hmm, Sky Q sounds better.

It's certainly a step forward from the previous generation.
You need to be careful of the package choice as price ends up higher.
Seek out one of the offers so the box is free and new aerial is free. Sine mine was fitted H&S has changed to access it so they wanted to charge me to install. Of course not paid :)

Just about to ditch Sky (TV).
We have lousy internet speed where we liveand no cable but i am struggling to find anything decent to watch these days.
Also if I return I will probably get a better deal.
My sons aren't to happy as they use sky go :D ............apparently on my account but don't live at home anymore........

ok i just rang about sky q and nearly fell off my chair... you guys have much more disposable income than me...

135 quid PCM for sky!! F that.... 5 quid a month netflix has better content imo.

Nargh - £56/Month box and mini box free and aerial replaced with latest free. Gave notice and haggled, but not a sillly 12 month then rises type of offer
£8.99 for Netflix HD for the movies

That is cheaper than my £72 a month I have now, with just movies and the second box.

I'm sure it's an excellent deal. Just gave notice and tested EE then for a couple of weeks (useless service) called back before the month was up and haggled.

if you call sky and give them notice that you want to leave they offer better deals , if you decline those offers about 10 days before you are due to be switched off you normally get another call offering deals and its worth negotiating , we got sky multiroom 3 rooms ,family package movies sport hd f1 telephone and fibre broadband £72

I currently pay £86 for Sky TV & Broadband, and can't even record a programme while watching another! When it runs out in a few months very tempted to get rid.
