SkiPi - All in one car "module" project thread

can someone with an intravee send me a log of the three-flash indicator being used? (Doesnt matter if you've got it set to flash 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 or 9 times, I just need a log of what message the intravee is sending out to get the indicators to flash)
ideally, if you can log once for the left and once for the right, that'd be ace.

should have a vid of the one-touch stuff working later today too :thumbsup:
 
Very impressive stuff OP, would be very interested once you get to the kick starter stage, and if you want any help before that then just let me know! Reasonably techy with computers, coding, and cars (CAN buses etc.)
 
On the music side of this mod, have you had text on the radio display from music via USB or dab radio, an do you think it could work on zeds with stranded nav screen , an does this means the parts you had ordered have now turned up, :thumbsup:
 
Haven't had the interface chips turn up yet, but I'm not expecting them till sometime next week.
Did get some relays turn up tho, hence some movement here :)

Found some bugs in my onetouch code that I'm working out now, so it's doubtfull I'll get a vid up now.
suffice to say tho, it's definately going to work :)

Will a nexus fit in factory nav or we're you going down a different route
 
I dont have a nav, so my plan is to make a new dashboard trim in carbonfiber and put it where the air went is, and have some vertical vents on the side of the nexus.

Had thought of something similar, how about if you get 2 din radio face plate adaptors invert one top replace airvents, an to make new airvents I would try the grills that come tweeters in speaker sets. Depending on how much room there is, are you using Timur's kernel.

awaiting parts from Germany.

Got onetouch working.. mostly. Having trouble querying the status of the roof, and knowing the direction it's travelling IF it's stopped half way for some reason.
Bar that (so as long as the roof is completely open or completely closed) it's working fine now.

Testing the 3-flash indicator code, making sure it doesn't continue to flash left when you click left THEN immediately right ;)

Started work on the web UI for controlling too.
 
Wow I like the idea sk93. I will be keeping an eye on your progress, as I'd like to fit one of these in my Zed in the future. :thumbsup:
 
On the project as a whole, with all the things you would like this module to do , how far along do you think you are , just amazed at the capabilities of some people on this forum , can't wait to see the finished product
