Skin experts???

So went to see the consultant and as you all said I will live :) I will need to have check ups 4 times a year for 3 years then then twice a year for a further 2. I have to have more skin removed from my ear about a 20mm circle then a skin graft. They seem to be popping up a lot at the moment what with my legs.

They are also going to do a sentinel lymph node biopsy small operation on my neck. Hopefully get a cool scar and get some scissors and cut hear tattoo after :thumbsup:

The down side the operation is on the 4th of October my birthday is on the 5th :thumbsdown: witch sucks Monkey nuts!!! And then 2 weeks off work and any strenuous activity. Witch means the building project to build a workshop at Monkey Towers won't be ready when I wanted it :thumbsdown:

You just never know these days what will happen when you see a doctor, but in my experience it's well worth getting things checked. Shortly after seeing my GP I was a bit like Adolf Hitler :x Then later lost a bit of intestine - I know very careless of me. Not had anything go externally yet apart from good looks and some hair!

I have to say though that the nurses in this country are really quite fantastic, avoid surgeons though as they do the dastardly on you and walk away :) My after care has been warm, friendly and encouraging and I've been having it for nine years now. It does get less frequent.

Anyway chin up MM you're not alone and anything we can do to help etc.

Good news Mm. I had a lymph node biopsy and the scar is rubbish. Nothin brave looking or gorey ( nowhere near what your shins look like)

Hi all had my operation today and all went well :thumbsup:

I am a little sore and I am sure it will be worse tomorrow morning!! O the drugs they use to relax you b4 they put you under are awesome :D
