I replaced the rear brake pads on my e89 2.3 I Z4.On switching on ignition the red ABS light was on.Took it in to SJR today who changed the brake pad wear cable ,cost for job £25. 
Would recoment this garage as they have previously serviced my Z4 and fixed a roof fault all at sensible prices.
