Been thinking about the landing page for the forum - are the featured articles shown supposed to cycle ? I was thinking that perhaps they don't because I access it from an iPad, so all I get is articles from 2009... I know most people just go straight into the forum itself, but for new visitors / potential newbies it might be more attractive if they see more recent threads, write-ups people have done about their travels or events / meets held, or perhaps a random changing gallery of photos from all the great shots folks take of their Z's. What do you reckon ? :?

I know it's easy for me to sit here and pontificate, but I am not technical (or a site mod) so couldn't make it actually happen - however I'd be happy to help if there was something needing done :hattip:
 
The links come from a sub-forum called Featured Articles, but only mods can move topics into that forum or start new ones, although everyone can post into the threads.

It's a good point - just swapped out some of the topics, if anyone has any suggestions for featuring a topic, just PM one of the mods.

I don't think, as you have said, that many people land on the front page, although maybe we are wrong?
 
A Lotus forum I was a member of used to display the winning photo from the monthly competition on the main page for the next month. I think that's a nice touch and gives more of an incentive to the monthly competition.
