Site frequently logs me out

Does anyone else keep having to re-login at random times? It happens to me irrespective of whether I tick the 'keep me logged in' option.

Sometimes when I refresh the page I am automatically logged out, other times it's fine. :?

Firefox 3, although I had the same issue with Firefox 2. Please don't make me use IE

One thing to add is that I log onto the forums from both home and work. That shouldn't make a difference though besides perhaps asking me to log in the first time I switch between work and home.

Can't recall a single auto log out since I joined 18 months ago.

IE7 and 8 are just fine for me and I use multiple pc's, vodafone mobile internet and various locations from around the globe

Do you have FF set to automatically clear your private data? That will clear any cookies you have and erase your login info.....

I use IE and Chrome on various computers & logins - 2 at home, 1 at work - with no issues...

I had the General Z4 discussion page open so to check for any new posts I clicked refresh and I was logged off again.

Good call, but I'm afraid my setting there are fine (not to automatically clear). Besides, I don't close the firefox window and nor do I even browse away to another site in the same tab.

I have IE 7 and 8. Also FF on my 4 home networked computers. No auto log offs, ever, on either. I would look at your local ISP. They sometimes do auto log offs to save resources.

Happens all the time with me. I believe it's related to how you have IE set to accept cookies. I have security set pretty tight.
