Site Crash

Did this web site crash this morning.?..couldnt get on it from about 7 am till about 12ish

Yes it did. I have been working since 7am to resolve it and hopefully will make sure it doesn't happen again. While having the site offline is inconvenient the data was never at risk, as we have dual location nightly backups.

Sorry mate, wasnt having a moan. Its a good site and well maintained...big thumbs up to ya!!!!

I will make an announcement about it in due course, but basically this account will be used to give status updates on forum upgrades and any maintainence that is being done that causes down-time.
 
I'm sure we all appreciate the efforts! I'm ever grateful to the guys who work through the early hours to keep various Internet forums alive.
 
Thats a bit strong mate,get yourself a few days off,a few beers and chill out,
done 7 days for 10 months 2 years ago,never again,also my mum & dad
were married when i was born.. :o

yup yup.. it's not for the usual twitter chat, so don't expect much to be posted on there, but if there are any issues with connecivity or maintainence it is a good way of letting you know what's going on :D
