Just bought a pair of these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MINI-TIMER-SWITCH-TIME-RELAY-1-TO-16-SEC-KIT-12V-12A-Delay-ON-CAR-DAYLIGHTS-/281033442628?pt=UK_BOI_Electrical_Components_Supplies_ET&hash=item416ee60544

12v Timer relay switches. Time can be set for how long the switch is held on for. Planning on wiring one to each left and right indicator loom so when I touch the indicator either left or right it will flash 3 or 4 times without me having to keep my hand on it!

Cheap little mod! Will have these through early next week so will see how it goes

I read the listing as time delay relay 1-16 seconds or can it be wired differently to allow the reverse.

I just push the indicator with enough pressure for it to flash but not enough to 'click' and stay on.

You can buy my mod for £2.99 ;-)

So did I ...

when power is on, the delay time start, led diode lights. When set time end, the relay is activated and output contact is closed, until cut off the power.

I'm interested. Do you also do a left hand drive version of this? If so what is the price?

If you fit an Intravee as part of your audio set up, it allows this on per facelift cars. Great little gadgets

How does the intravee do this?

i thought it connected the iphone to the head unit.

Is there a list of what this intravee does pls? e.g. does it allow bluetooth? (no i think)

It's a gateway device translating iBus to AiNet allowing you to interface Alpine AiNet devices into the car. As it's in the iBus network, it's capable of intercepting signals and acting on them, and also sending signals into the car. Mine is set up to auto-unlock on engine off, 3 blink indicators, speed sensitive zoom on the nav map and set the clock from the GPS satellites.
