Single Beep upon Startup

This is probably a really obvious one but i cant seem to find anything on it.

Upon ignition my car is emitting a single (warning) beep. Similar to if the handbrake is still engaged however the beep occurs regardless of whether handbrake is on/of, in/out of gear, lights on/off, outside temp etc and there are no warning lights and my seatbelt is fastened.

Any ideas ?
 
Have you placed anything on your passenger seat lap top bag etc , could be the passenger occupancy going off.
 
Check the obvious passenfger seat belt (try fastening the seatbelt as a test before starting the car)

Rear PDC not working - emits one loud beep from the sounder??
