If I buy a 3.0 Z4 running the OEM 17" wheels with the 225/40 tyres, and then buy the right 8/8.5" 108's or 107's at a later date, is it just a straight swap with the same wheel bolts and everything?
Ie, take old ones on, new ones on (wider at rear), sorted...?
Just lots of nice silver Z4's around with xenons and stuff, but the OEM 17's, and I can just run them old tyres off through winter, and buy the odd cheap ebay 108 in the meantime. New tyres I'd need anyway, and then just flog the old wheels.
Seems silly to make the wheels the breaking point on buying a car when they are so easy to swap.
Going to look at another Z4 tomorrow, not sure on the full spec but if it's right I feel a deposit coming on
