simple question - which are the best wheels for a 3.0l Si

Not got my Z lowered (yet  ) insurance want to hike my premium up over £120 - so will need to wait till after my renewal date - but as i dont plan to do any track time - i'll go with some eibachs springs - Had some Tein coilovers on my S2k - which had far too many adjustable tweaks for me to play with!

Simple question but no definative answer - everyone will just suggest their own wheels

CSLs are lovely, genuine ones are 19" though and I couldn't live with anything bigger than 18" (and IMO 18" CSL replicas don't look right).

Any excuse for posting a photo... These are the 202-style 18" alloys (very similar to the 107-style "Ellipsoids" but subtly different and newer design I think?):

I personally think this is an amazing design that suits the Z extremely well. I had 107's before but these have a much more sculpted, high end look.

tempting!
though the kerbing on them brought a tear to my eye, would look nice all polished up and sparkly!

Just 2 miles down the road from me too...

Worrying that they have the wrong tyres on. Different widths and same profile ratio ???

ooh, now these I like -

Though again 225 all round... and seem excessively cheap for wheels & tyres @ a touch over 400 notes. Tasty though!

108s for me they really suit the car.

107s look good to and seem rare now they were the wheel i saw on the car when it was first released had a 3.0 on 107s in T.Silver on a stand at Brands looked superb never thought i would own one.

I had MV's on my old Z4, and always wanted either the 108's or Eps'

Now i have an Z4MC, i want CSL's - trust me you'll never be happy with your shoes !

Or you could go for the non OEM route...........

Not for the purist but will give your Z a completely unique look and stance.

Style 203's :D

Much of the style of the 108's without the corrosion issues IMO - but Im biased

Ultra rare too :D

Yep, those are the ones, but not so rare here in the states--standard on the coupe with sport package. Of course, the coupe is rare, so maybe you're right! :driving:

This place is about 3 miles from me.
They do some really good packages. Have a lot of nice wheels in.

I was almost tempted by a set of M6 reps like those above, but quite glad I stayed OEM. If you search long enough on ebay you'll find some sellers with the staggered wheel and tyre set up - still reps though obviously being 18" but not a bad wheel design on the Z4 IMO.
