Silverstone track day 12 Nov

We have booked our Zed 2.2 in for this track day and thought it would be nice if some others were to join us. I would imagine it being fully booked quite quickly.
My wife and I have been enjoying track days with Motorsport events for 20 years and they will not tolerate bad track manners so we know we are in safe hands. I hasten to add we are not connected with this company apart from being customers.

The pictures show the MX5 turbo engined special that I built and still enjoy when the sun shines!
Which although I built it to do track days, my wife Diane does not like driving it and I have just as much fun in the Z as its not all about speed.
The second is my 2.2 Zed about to be overtaken by yet another sevenesque car.

Tempted by this, and would be good to meet up with you guys again. Unfortunately the car is probably going to be laid up for winter by then and....maybe you can advise but the national layout doesn’t look *that* interesting...happy to be corrected on that though. GP layout then 100% yes!
Either way enjoy it! And believe it or not I’ve still not managed to download those videos from Abingdon to my laptop yet, I will get it done soon! :lol:

Hi to you too Andy. Yes it would be nice to meet up again but understand the car has the winter off .
Silverstone is a bit special for Diane and I because I raced my RS3100 Ford Capri there in the 1982 Birkett 6 hour relay race when our daughter was just 2 months old and her first visit of many to race tracks. She competed and won the race using her 2013 Standard Boxster championship winning car. She last took us round there 3 years ago in a Radical V6 twin turbo race car on a freezing day 8) however 150 mph no screen down the Gran Prix circuit going past McClarens is damned exciting just trying to stop your head lifting in the wind!
Diane and I last drove the full circuit about 8 years ago in the now living in USA Dolomite Sprint shown below.
No worries on the video though it would be welcome, and next year perhaps we can meet up at a circuit.
