Silverstone GP - Open pit lane. Tuesday 14th July 2009.

Don't you find Silverstone a bit dull & featureless?

The only bit I find fun is the run from Woodcote to the Maggotts-Becketts-Chapel complex.

I suppose it depends on the car and the configuration somewhat though.

It is OK. Close to home, open pitlane, reasonable value and the GP circuit. Anywhere will seem featureless after 2500 laps of the Ring.

I still find Oulton Park a good track due to the elevation changes (and it's close to home), and Knockhill & Cadwell can be fun.

Can't beat the 'Ring though, but it's getting expensive to spend any time over there, and I think over the last 3 weekends I've been I've only gotten 10 laps between closures & queues.
Last time I spent more time driving the roads around the national parks than I did at the 'Ring, and they were quite fun too.
