Silverstone Classic Vehicle Info Sheet Idea

For those attending Silverstone and parking on the infield you have probably received an email which has the following paragraph

BMW UK has asked for us to be located with them, as you know, and we think it would be good if people had something printed off about their cars in the windscreen. So that as people are passing, they can pause, read and understand why we enjoy them so much. It could be a bit of history about your individual car and why it is special to you or it may be technical data about your specific car, or model. We will leave it to the individual to decide what they would like to say but the idea is that while you are away from your car someone can get an idea why you want to be there displaying your car. Remember most of the public will have no idea if you have a 320 E30,36,46 in special colours or anything so even apparently simple information could catch someone¹s interest. It may be you got a great deal and want to let everyone know or it could be a one of a kind because of some modification or other.

I though it might be a good idea if we all used the same template with the Z4-forum logo on and same layout etc.

If you think it's a good idea and anybody could knock up a template that would be great.
 
I think that's a great idea. Shame I'm going to miss it this year - anyone want to take my ///M for me? :)

i was thinking of calling in at a car show room and just looking at their sales print out things
 
Agreed, tha banner will be fine at the top, then we can choose whatever layout we want beneath, history etc. If we put too much detail, lots of text, no one will read it anyhow, best to have a bulleted list and a teeny write up IMHO. I'm going to stick a few teeny photos of it being detailed at Miglior, getting the new wheels etc...
 
ye that looks ok, only thing i would include is a favourite picture, but then is that required when the car is there?
