My understanding is that the facelift N52 Si models came with a silver rocker cover (or whatever it's called) for a period, before returning to a black cover with engine revisions.
My questions are
- Did this apply only to the Si versions, or to the lesser N52 engines also?
- When did the change back to black take place?
I'm about to look at a few cars, so would be useful to know.
