I have decided to sell my Z4M Coupe in order to fund the new car. Looking ideally for a quick sale otherwise I might be tempted to part exchange it, however I would rather it went to an owner who would look after it rather than a main dealer who just wants a few quid in their pocket.

2006 Z4M Coupe Silver Grey with Red Nappa Leather.

lovely motor! Really nice spec too, the red seats would have been the main factor for me but I couldnt find a good one with them :(, looks like its been your pride and joy! what are you changing it for? porka? another beemer? Good luck with the sale.

Just my opinion, but I would not put the cost of that service on an advert though - it would actually put me off.

Knowing the cars, I would think - what was wrong with it to get such a bill.

£900 for the Inpsection II and about £300 for the alignment. So just maintenance costs.

£15,895 seems very cheap to me, is it high mileage?

Well, cast your eye to the left top of the advert and all will be revealed :poke:

I dont think its a bad price, it has a high spec, just under average milage for its age, you would be pressed to find one like this for less than 17-17.5k from a BM Garage. The seats and the sound pack would be main buying points for alot of buyers, plus it has a transferable warranty so... not too bad! I think with a lee-way of £500 its a good deal :) There is one approved BM with 52k but jan 07, which is pretty much the same without the upgraded sound pack and that is £17,995.

Also I think its good that you have put the service costs, means the next buyer wont have to spend the money when they buy it also should be good for 2 years without another service! Its a big service and the next service is a routine oil service so... Anyone who looks at these cars know they cost a bit to run/service, and in my opinion your not doing the buyer justice if you dont tell them these things.

Hi All

Thank you for your replies. The car is hopefully priced to sell quickly as I have my eyes on a V8 Vantage and was offered stupid money for my Z4M part exchange by Aston Martin dealer, so thought I would try and sell it quickly privately by pricing it lower than I could actually get.

Yep all the car had done was Inspection II, wheel alignment and side light bulb replaced so £1200 was a reasonable amount considering BMW wanted £1100 for an Inspection II but with a bit of haghling I got them to about £945 and Alignment was £150.00.

Cheers
Scott

£150 for alignment. I'm in the wrong job.

Yep very pricey, however BMW say only they can set the car up as it was when it left the factory. Perhaps its just an excuse to charge so much money for it.

BMW wanted to charge me 1.5 hours to 2 hours labour to remove the front bumper and fit a small part. I did the job in less than an hour having never dont it before and being the most useless mechanic you ever met.
