Silver Grey E86 Si Sport Manual (Leather Retrim) - DEPOSIT TAKEN

Very nice indeed , good luck with the sale .

Appreciate you’ve said you wouldn’t remove anything , but if that changes at all . I’d happily swop my red leather for yours plus a big handful of cash

Take a sorted Montego Coupe in exchange?
That's a well sorted example, good luck with the sale.

AutoTrader is my go to car sales website. It's so much better than Pistonheads.

If I was looking for a car as specific as the E86 I would be checking this forum. I would maybe add your mobile number to the advert. Some people might not sign up to PM.

Thinking I now need to reach a wider audience.

What's best?

Autotrader at £80 or Pistonheads at £30
I sold my last E86 on eBay - the coverage is great but you do have to accept the sale price being dictated by the market.

If you need to achieve a specific price and are willing to wait for a suitable buyer then a classified approach is best - for that I've previously used the price until sold option that Autotrader offer

You can have a classified advert on ebay, but there is a lot of Z4 E85,86 and 89 going unsold at the asking prices.

Some of the prices when sellers have risked an auction have been really low.

Agreed but if the ask doesn’t match the market the car won't sell - auction prices are always a good indication of market value but often don't meet a sellers expectation. Often this is down to sellers trying to recover what they've spent or realise an unrealistic margin on what they paid for the car.

Irrespective of which way you go GLWTS - it certainly feels like a buyers market at the moment.

I'm surprised its taken so long. A wonderful car, I'm sure you'll miss it, and the new owner will adore it

Yep, for sure I'll miss the E86 just as I did when I sold my other favourite coupe the Corrado VR6.

However glad it will remain on this forum, just in case I ever want to buy it back
