That first red one is bang on the money and mileage - are we sure it's a dent I saw it last week when I compiled week 12 avge M prices and when I looked again I wasn't certain if it wasn't a reflection of the person taking the shot - just can't believe you'd photograph it highly polished with such a big dent,

mine might be going back up for sale. i unexpectedly have a change of circumstances (in a good way), that means i can upgrade! 
I will know more this week, but its looking like the single car M3/M4 or M5 plan might become achievable this year...

Only time will tell if the appreciation is permanent or not, but there are quite a few more Ms for sale recently, and they are definitely priced higher than they have been. It may simply be seasonal as you imply. That said, decent cars with under 40/50k mileage - roadsters - seem to be bottoming out at about £14/14.5k minimum.
