Over recent months the size of signature, multiple images and animation have gotten somewhat out of hand. This is detracting from the flow of posts and for certain users making page views on laptop and mobile difficult and/or slow. We have made 2 changes to the rules as well which are in red. The rules for signatures are as follows:
We will allow a grace period until May 1. After May 1 any signature not in compliance will be subject to removal without notice. If you have any questions you should PM anyone on the moderation team.
Signature size
Signature sizes should not exceed 600px (width) x 150px (height). This size includes any text you wish to put above or below a single picture. If you have any problem sizing your signature please contact a moderator and they will assist you.
Signatures should not contain advertising or advertising links unless previously discussed with the moderation team.
Links to personal sites and photo galleries are absolutely fine
Signatures should not contain sound or animation
