Sighting of the "THE UNICORN"?!!!!!

I was browsing through the latest issue of 'Straight Six' and started reading about the parade lap by M Power owning BMWCCGB members before the Brands Hatch DTM round. When these two photos caught my eye.....one very white looking M Roadster!!!!

IN LHD there are more of them available. Last year there was one for sale with BMW dealership De Beier in the Netherlands.

Most of them are ex BMW factory cars used for testdriving by journalists, etc. These were for the E85/E86 mostly white cars.
 
Might be at zedfest - Adamski will be gutted if it is, he won't be able to put a 'future offer' on it :D
 
Perhaps you can beat him to it Bing...Mrs Bing might forgive the cost of an aluminium dash when she hears how many shoes she'll have to go without so that you might own the unicorn :D
 
I just spotted what I thought was Adamskis Unicorn!! Nearly died of shock. False alarm though... It was indeed a white Z4MR... but it was a left hooker :(

Saw it from the hotel bar window... tried to take a photo but it was gone before I got my phone out. I'm not far from the ferry port. Probably Spanish, I guess.
 
Have to say, it looked sweet. White with red leather and black wheels... couldn't tell you what type though as I was a few floors up!!

Just a thought. Do the UK production figures that state one only of these include Ireland? There may be another RHD one out there...
 
I saw a rhd white for sale,,, a while ago but cant remember if it was an ///m all i remember was the two tone leather interior white and black

The Unicorn wasn't at Zedfest. I was looking out for it. The one on the OP's pic, does look like it might still be alive though. Those are cars at a UK event. The pic of the back of it doesn't show if it had a UK plate on it though, it was obscured.

Of course it might "just" be a non M car with the spoilers added. We are a community of modders here after all.

The hunt continues...

No this was real Stuart (although could be wrapped of course). It was an M Power car only Parade Lap at Brands before the DTM race earlier this year. It was part of M Division's 40th birthday celebrations.
 
Well I hope it is alive, it's unique and lovely. I'd be gutted if its owner had trashed it. When its owner comes to sell, there'll be a long queue if it's well specced and not too leggy. I wonder if they know what they have...
 
How gutted would you be if THE white ///M roadster came up for sale, poverty spec :cry:

I would be game for buying it and embarking on many a project, but it would feel like I'd been cheated :lol:
 
Yes,very rare indeed,and a nice car the white z4m r is.....wonder how much it would command if put up for sale,as im sure the owner knows how few of them there are,especially in the uk/or maybe not,and u could be lucky?

How few? It's a one off motor! I reckon it would command between £500 and £1000 over standard if it's well specced and mint. If it's well used, low spec and leggy, I don't think it would be worth anything more than any other. It's only going to carry a premium because a lot of people would like to own it, but that won't extend to buying a dog
