Hello guys,

i sense a pretty big amount of people willing to tune their MS45 based cars and i feel their pain. Not long time ago we, MS43 guys, had the exact same problem, but we figured it out. As we are almost done with the interesting stuff, i was thinking about you MS45 guys and if theres enough community to give it a go.

So, lets do you guys this offer:

If theres anyone wanting to contribute to the MS45 development and does own a tuned MS45 ecu/file, think about sending it to me at [email protected]

Those contributions will only be used for research reasons, i won´t publish them nor will i publish the contributor without permission, nor the company who developed the file.

Reverse-engineering is the best possibility to get a community growing and as software is the only thing thats holding us back, we could use this as a very good starting point

Thanks for your patience and taking the time to read these sentencies

Hello, I realize this post is a decade old, but I found it while looking for information on flashing my MS45 on my 2004 Z4 2.5l. can't find much else. I have gotten the MS45 quick flash and identified and read my DME. And that's about where I got. Lol I purchased this car from some teenagers whom I believe tried tuning the car because it was in limp mode and they nervously asked me if I was going to tow the vehicle. Their eyes got wide when I said no I was just going to drive it. I bought it to mess around with and learn things. But I would like to eventually drive it. So IDK if you ever got a tuned DME read, but I think I have one. And if you did get one and have some info for me and the next steps that would be awesome. And before anyone with extensive knowledge on the topic wants to give me a dressing down and tell me to let the pros handle it, please remember that I purchased the car in limp mode so I could learn to fix it and do different things to it. Thanks in advance.

If all else fails you can fit a replacement DME and simply remove its link to the EWS so the car runs in standard tune
