Hi all!
I'm looking to swap out my dull yellow coloured sidelights (not dipped beam) for more brighter white 501/T10 bulbs.
I had a go this morning but the new ones I put in give a warning 'bulb' light on the speedo. The orange indicators also stay on constantly, except the rear indicators. I believe this is something related to CANBUS? But the bulbs I bought are ERROR FREE/CANBUS. Here are the bulbs I bought, both give constant orange indicators on the headlights:

I know that you can buy load resistors/CANBUS decoders separately, but is it really worth it? Because I have heard that you can use a program to not check the sidelights for errors and get rid of the light that comes on the dash. My only concern with this is that, will it be safe to do this using the program?

Any help or different suggestions about the bulbs is greatly appreciated!
