Side skirt diffuser / extension

Was playing with the idea of getting some extensions for the side skirts, the ones I've seen for z4's aren't what I'm after, I like the little kick up near the rear quarter. Is there anything similar on the market? I've seen cheap universal ones but wanted to avoid those.

Think it will be a custom jobby mate, just checked out FANCYWIDE as they do a cool diffuser but no :( I have maxton skirts & have never seen anything mad other than these tbh.

Whats your end-vision? i.e. are you basing it on something? Anything to show your concept design? Be interested to see what you want to do :)

And you know what they say, slow and steady wins the race!

Cross between the factory aero skirts and the side skirts on a Gp B Audi Quattro

What's your plan with this? You've bonded the foam on. Then are you going to shape it and then use it as a mould?

Just skin it with carbon then paint the top half to blend into the cars colour

Making a mould would very difficult for most people

Is that a Maxton V2? They said it wouldn't fit a Facelift bumper. Did you have to mod it? Thanks

I personally bought the car with this kit on however to my knowledge no modifications were made.

I got a set on eBay and stuck them on my z4, pic attached, maybe not everyone’s taste but I like them!

It's cool because it mirrors the bar in the centre of the lower grille. I really don't like the version they made for this bumper but that one looks right. If you get chance to grab a shot of how it's been fixed (presuming self-tappers) and please let me know if it reaches to be flush with the beginning of wheel arch (hard to tell black on black in shadow) Thanks!

Yeah they were cheap, £20 for the pair, needed a little dremel work to cut them down for a good fit and then some drilling in the right places on the sills but they are very secure. Can’t go too far wrong at that price, little something to do to ease the bordom 👍🏻
