Side lights/Angel eyes

I want to wire the angel eyes direct to the ignition and maybe remote key. So when I turn the side lights on the angel eyes remain on. But obviously turn off with ignition. Making the front side light wire obsolete, but without the dash warning light. Is this possible. Could I just add a diode at the end of the cut side light wire?????
 
I did that with mine, I connected the wires from the angel eyes into a feed on the fuse box that came on with the ignition it was quite easy
 
I bought the car with the new headlights and AE fitted but I'm getting flashing AE all the time, when I disconected & put a live feed to it from the battery they were ok, so I thought do that from an ign live but the side light wire is floating
 
My headlights and side lights were connected via the standard plug and worked as normal via the light switch the angel eyes which had separate wires were fed into the fuse box and come on with the ignition as Daytime Running Lights there is also a single LED which comes on with the DRL's
I dont know if yourangel Eyes are the same as mine

The warning light doesn't come on, it will only come on if a bulb goes or you don't connect the side lights with the existing connections

Yes, the new headlight has two AE rings with four wires & two LSD'e with two wires all connected into a plug which connects/plugs straight into the standard plug, so its replacing the standard side light. I would have to cut the wire from the plug to the headlight & connect it to the fuse box, which is ok but I'm left with a live cut side light wire which the computer will pick up and give me a dash error light.
 
What I haven't mentioned is the angel eyes wer flashing all the time. BMW have reset the code but its still flashing (all the time) so I want to bypass the ecu (sidelight system)
