Side Light Help

Help...I guess this has been covered before at some point however I hope a refresh might help. Dash light came on to show a light fault. front o/s side light not working, also when just side lights switched on o/s indicator light was on constantly. replaced o/s front side light bulb but not working. checked voltage at bulb holder and only showing just over 6v. Ran a temporary separate earth but no difference so doesn't look like an earth fault.
I noticed when dipped or full beam lights were on that the constant indicator went off. The indicators also function correctly.

Can anyone point or advise where to turn to particularly the 6v reading and what could be causing the voltage drop at the bulb holder.

That sounds odd, but I'd be looking at the LCM first as it feeds the lights directly. Though it should self test. Wiring in the headlights and at the sockets ok?

LCM ??? is that the Light control module, where do I find that. Checked plugs on lights, seam ok but not checked voltage at plug

Years back I had a similar issue on the N/S sidelight which turned out to be the feed to the light rather than the earth.
My local independent specialist ran a new feed from the fuse/relay box RHS in the engine bay - problem solved.
