Quick question...I remember reading somewhere on the board that when you reinstall the door panel you have to do something with the ignition in accessory so the airbag light doesnt stay on. Does anyone know what Im talking about? Ive tired searching, but have come up empty handed :headbang:

Thanks for the help! :D

I think you will find that you need to disconnect the battery before touching anything to do with the airbags, and do not connect the battery again until the airbags have been reconnected otherwise the light will come on.

As above just disconnect the battery. The airbag is attached to the door itself and you only need to disconnect it if removing it or unplugging the door harness.

... but.. if the lights on now already it's too late and will be a trip to the dealer / indy to reset.

"Allows residual current and magnetism in the cable to dissipate"......... That's a load of crap.

I might be able to see agree if they said, "allowing any potential circuit capacitance in the SRS modules to fade".

Cables don't have residual current and magnetism..

Uh .. steady on ...

Cables do NOT carry residual current, and therefore no magnetism. You need a capacitor for that at least.

Thanks for the info!
I was having sound deadening put in the doors, but
got through it with no troubles! :D

The door still doesnt have the closing sound like my dads honda pilot, but its much better! Road noise is down, which wasnt a concern in the first place. But the speakers sound amazing now!

Dynamat Xtreme - $13 per door

Labor - $50

Ship, I think you would like it. I have had the 2004 Z and the 2007, and the difference in door sound is quite nice. Think CJ has done it to his Z as well with positive results.
