Anybody in Cape Canaveral to watch the launch tonight?
I am in the port on our ships heli deck - great view

It was really cool, we were in direct line of sight and saw it all. Not as loud as I expected however.
:)

We were at the beach here, although the clouds kept the launch from being as spectactular as those we have seen in the past, the boosters were clearly visible. Early dawn launches have really blown us away. Welcome back to the US Ben!

Been to several shuttle launches. As you just found out, you cannot describe all that happens to your senses when they go up. You just have to experience it....

Thanks! I have been in the US for a month now in Port Canaveral.
I fly home today however. Time to get the car out of the garage!

Thanks for sharing the link. Looks beyond awesome! I can only imagine the ground vibrating with all that combustion happening!
