Shown me your steering wheels!

I bought a leather Mewant (Chinese) cover kit on Ebay and fitted it myself back in April last year. Black leather, perforated grips and silver grey stitching. Fitting it wasn't particularly difficult, just a little fiddly. I took the wheel off the car to make fitting the cover easier. Quite pleased with my efforts for a first go and it's wearing very well. I have a spare set of spoke trim covers so might spray them Sterling Grey and see what they look like  20191002_164549.jpg

As posted before, I have 2 black alacantara wheels, but I hadn’t posted a pic installed

Here’s one, and the other alcantara accessories and gloss black stuff visible for the full effect

Damn, that does look smart!

I suspect I'll end up going for the seemingly popular perforated sides and solid top and bottom, double padding and a silver or grey stitching. To match my dash and car!

Here’s mine

Oh wow!

That wheel and the whole interior look amazing!! Your Zed is supercharged too?
Do you mind sharing what that's like?

Thanks have updated the interior since this photo, the dash carbon fibre wrap has been replaced with genuine carbon leather parts thus have removed the red pipping. The floor mats have been swapped back to the standard black ones for now. As for the supercharger i would highly recommend it.

Does anyone have any idea what Royals charge for their ‘Drive in-Drive out’ service ?

I have emailed them on their enquiry form, but just wanted to get an idea.

These things are totally underrated. £18 and an hour of my time and this...

Will it though? That looks like an MSport wheel?

Looks like you’ve done a Fab job there by the way

Is it synthetic rather than leather?

Mine was a standard se steering wheel

I went for pleather but you can get a leather one for an extra tenner

6 hours??? I took the wheel off and did it sitting on the sofa :)

10 mins to get it lined up, then once you get going you get into a good rhythm
