My other hobby is model airplanes with an tendency towards biplanes and warbirds. Who doesn't want to fly a Spitfire, right?
Since the Zed took up my old shop space in the garage. I am now converting some old horse space in the barn to a wood shop for the planes.
Once the shop is operational - the sky is the limit. LOL

I't been on the back burner for a bit my flightline mate met a girl, got married... took him out of the action for awhile... but he's coming back now and I'm trying to finish the new hobby room so we can play with these toys again. I love the old warbirds and biplanes. Your man Mitchell designed one of the very best ever. Tragic story there but he got it done and turned the tide. I have a beautiful 1/6th scale MkIX

Cut the grass for the first time yesterday, and then again today.

Also managed to get the cladding finished on this nearly. Amazing what you can do when it stops raining.

Another one out in the garden. First cut this year with newly sharpened mower. Quite pleased.

Sharp blades are so much better for the lawn's health too... must put sharpen mower blades on my activity list

Gave the grass it's first cut of the year a few days ago. Few bare patches and weeds that need pulling. Plenty of time to do that now 8)



Took the baby for a spin around the garden:



Then I washed the in laws' motor. They're going back to Scotland tomorrow. Hopefully they can travel freely :lol:

It's not just you. I worked from home full time before the pandemic, so I'm just as busy as ever. I count myself lucky to still be in work, though.

I was enjoying this thread - let's keep it going! I had a WaterRower ordered and delivered before things became much more restrictive and have now got it up and running. This will definitely help with my sanity and lack of access to a gym.

Plenty of work to do here too, MoD contracts never shut down. Nice to be able to pop out and do the garden at lunch times, but that may wear off. Enjoying being able to chat here during the day too.

Same here working for MoD and never been busier although working from home! Frustrating as I wish I had plenty of time on my hands to complete a huge list of outstanding jobs around the house and on the car!
