Show us your....Japanese Cars

i would but i have had over 50 performance/ modified jap cars and it makes me cry thinking of how much time and effort i spend on them.... as such i wont post any pics :P

Really enjoying this thread bringing back some great memories of my past cars. Some great looking Jap cars so far. Sorry for all the pictures and that some are rubbish quality.

My first car a was a Toyota Paseo it looked so bad when I picked it up. But after a lot of effort it turned out nice.

The Paseo radiator went bang 2 miles from my house on the morning of my 19th birthday and badly damaged the engine. After spending 3 months trying to fix it i upgraded to a Gen 6 Celica

I also owned a MK1 MR2 that you can see in the back of one of the pictures I bought this for £50 and did it up. I sold it to get a MK2 MR2. Saddly not pictures of these on this computer.

I swapped my Gen 6 Celica for Gen 7 Celica

I sold the Gen7 Celica and MK2 MR2 to get my Z4 and my Jap Car days came to an end :-( but the Z4 makes up for it :-)

My Dad has also had a couple of Celica's and MR2's as well. He still has a Lexus IS300 Cross Sport he cant part with it. I always tell him if he ever sells it I want first refusal dont know why I really like it. Would love to own a Supra one day still and Gen 6 Celica GT Four.

I bet that is awesome fun  :driving:

It is indeed. I've actually driven it more the last year than the other half has. This is his first car and the car he learnt to drive in. The car is so nice just toddling about in town but at speed handles really well. Very planted and no matter where you are it always gets admirers. We've had someone pull up along side on the A19 in an A6 to say how awesome he thought it was. Just wish it was ready for this weekend :(

Oh and the engine and exhaust sounds of this car are actually in GTA V

Ooft! Almost a whole page to yourself there envy! What a collection. Is it just me or does the blue mx-5 turbo look like it's trying to be a Z3?

Hhhhmmm Not sure what to say envy other than a lot of your life & lolly has obviously been consumed by Jap motors before you finally discovered German engineering  at least the worst is behind you

yeah jap motors were a lot more bang for buck back then. the tables have turned over the last 10 years and now jap motors are pretty bland and the germans are stylish and more bang for buck. i had most of the jap motors between 2003 and 2008 and they were pretty cool back then.... not so much now :)
