Show us ya snow pics!

Malc,

Do you know what it's like up the hill towards Benvie & Fowlis? I'm meant to be going there this coming week?

Beautiful scenery in most...beautiful car too Last year I owned a 2005 Z4 and ended up going down a hill backwards...funny and frightening all at the same time...:D

Hi, Benvie & Fowlis are not that high above sea level so O.K. today, as long as you stay on the main road through the villages.
Lots of farmers have been out with their machinery clearing roads.

I was up at my wife's sister's house at Auchterhouse today, which is a good bit higher - see photos

Not a snow pic... but thought i should drive my Z after 2 weeks left at work... incase the battery died in the cold weather..... could believe it on the way home it was -7 in Derby city center at 17.30!

(appologies for the crappy blackberry pic!)

Crazy stuff out there...

Mrs a11y just spent 10hrs trying to drive home from work (west side of Glasgow) to Falkirk - a total distance of around 40miles. She got around half-way home in the first 60mins then came to a standstill. Was eventually turned around after some workmen dismantled the central reservation (lol) and was sent back towards Glasgow. She's abandoned the car in Glasgow city centre and is crashing at a mate's flat for the night. 10hrs to drive an as-the-crow-flies distance of 6 miles. All done after working a 12.5hr night shift, no food, no drink. She ain't best pleased to put it mildly...

I gather there's been fresh snow falls there today again? Just been told A9 and A90 are closed either side of Perth so might give it a miss for now!

We only had about another 1 inch of snow in Angus - the trouble seems to be west and south of the Tay. :driving:

Okay had to go rescue my Zed the other night, it was buried all round in about 1' of ICE!! This lot needed a pickaxe...
