Im on the fence about upgrading to a 18" gunmetal CSL wheel, or a 19" inch for my 03 non-sport Z4. Ive heard mixed reviews on 19"s being too big and causing handling/rubbing and other issues but they look a lot better than 18, id say. I have no plans on lowering anytime soon so whatever looks best is the route id like to take.

Is there a wheel picture/spec thread on here somewhere? If so, can you point me in that direction?

Otherwise, show me what wheels you have on your Z and slap on the specs too.

A 19" wheel fits the shape/size of the Z4 arches fine IMO. 18s equally so, but 19s are certainlly not too big, and won't cause any rubbing issues.

x2, I have them on my car.

16! Blimey the word ridden must apply to those, IMO 18" seems about right, 19 look a tad too big, 17 a bit small. Plus the ride is already pretty poor so I wouldnt want to make it worse. I guess the tyre price could be a factor? I'm not sure, but I'd like to make the rant about people buying big expensive wheels and then running them with cheap tyres. Im sure nobody on this forum would dream of it, more for the chavs I guess.

Rolling rolling. keep......

18' or 19' are the way to go, anything smaller just wont fill the arches sufficiently.

I've got 19' on mine, as so long as you get the correct off-set, there are no rubbing issues. Likewise if you also ditch the RFTs at the same time, there will be no noticable decrease in ride either.

couldn't agree more. Using same Alpina Dynamic wheels as elliot

18" customised 108's with smoked chrome wet paint centres and polished lips
Without doubt the best wheel on the planet for the Z4 :) :) :) :)

Absolutely agree. :)

CJ10 - those 108's look really good with the colour coding. Nice job 8)

Very pleased moving up to 19"'s - ride is better than the RFT's and the CSL's look good on the Coupe.

IMHO the 108s are the best looking wheel for the Z4, but I do like the CSLs, espcially on the coupe.

Hey coupe sport - those wheels really work on your coupe.

Ity'a all about the right colour and style of wheel to match the overall appearance of the car from coupe /roadster to paint colour, to any customising theme.
