I am trying to work out what will make the wheels look chunkier

I am trying to work out if I should go for 225.35.19 front or 235.35.19 front

Rear I really want a chunky tyre, I don't want it looking too stretched so can't work out what would work better in the rear either a 265.30.19 or a 255.35.19 or do they roughly come out with the a similar side wall?

I've got 235/35/19/ 8.00" ET37 fronts and 265/30/19/ 9.00" ET34 rears:

255/35/19 would have an extra 0.4" depth to the sidewall.

How wide is the wheel? And what offset?
I went from 235/35 to 225/35 because it rubbed in the wheel wells.

Her is my 8,5" ET34 fronts (rears are 10" ET41 with 265/30-19):

Hi mate , i know you asked me on another post but il answer here
The widths & offsets are the major factors determining tyre size as well as whether the car is lowered or on standard springs

These are 235 35 19 on a 8.5 rim

& these are 255 35 19 on a 9.5 rim

Neither look "stretched" but tou wouldnt really want to go any lower in width imo

It really depends on brand also. I switched from Falken to Kumho the falkens looked quite stretched on where as the Kumhos look great and square.

I run 225/35/19 front and 255/30/19 rear.

Here's mine on 235/35/19 fronts on 8.5" wheel and 265/30/19 rears on 9.5" wheel.
They look a little stretched and exposing the wheel rims.

mr wilks

I had quite a few positive comments at Duxford on Sunday.
Easiest wheels I've ever had to clean too, can get my hand through the spokes and clean right to the back.
