Here is mine, OEM from a E46 M3/CSL

Precisely what I have gone for. I bought a VGC one off eBay for £130 delivered. Worth PM'ing those breaking M3s on eBay as well as many don't list this part for some reason. I've also had to order the top nuts as they are different and then the black rubber nut covers... whole thing has come in at around £200. Depends how OCD you are.

£200 is what I paid from memory for the lot. I was a bit peed of at the time as the seller (was on here) didn't list as an M3 so I think I paid over he odds a little.

In saying that though it's chrome and had all the covers etc so looks like all in all priced OK. Most OEM Z4 braces are painted silver and stock M3 ones are black.

Ah now I did wonder, couldn't quite work it out. Mine is a standard M3 so black. I don't mind as the whole reason for me getting it was to match the engine bay struts already in place.

You buggers, all these pictures have made me enquire about costs for the Strong Strut & firewall braces inc shipping to the UK.... :headbang:

It's a lot thought ain't it Perry
Not really, at current exchange rates, the three piece set comes in at just under £450 inc shipping - compare that to the price of the OEM brace and it's not unreasonable

I love that so many people on this forum clearly have the OCD I do - nice to see the little bolt "tops" on yours too Beedub!

I have an Ultra Racing 3-point strut - this one to be precise:

Mine also came with my car. I don't know if turn in is improved. However, coming previously from a 3.0, my current zed turns in and handles much much better. But then you'd expect that anyway, regardless of strut brace or not.
Why's that then Adam... is it a special model of Zed?...

See what I did there 8)
