Show me your spoilers!

After changing my mind on an aero spoiler I'm after something different, perhaps a bit bigger. If anyone has any non oem spoilers fitted I'd love to see them!

Did BMW ever fit a rear spoiler to the E85, or are they all aftermarket purchases?
Isn’t a spoiler on a convertible a bit pointless, beyond personal aesthetics?

There's an oem aero spoiler, although I'm not a huge fan. Think I might trigger some people and go for something a little bigger :fuelfire:

My rear spoiler debate topic/thread highlights the divide of owners adding a spoiler to their cars.

I purchased one 6 years ago, had it sprayed and it's still in the loft gathering dust.... I'm still in the 'is it really required club' - does it really add anything?

The coupe lends itself more to a rear spoiler in all fairness but it's a marmite subject for the roadster...

Just a small lip spoiler that I've had painted.

Got the carbon aero lip on mine, which I personally feel really compliments the green well especially paired with the carbon diffuser. I do agree with the sentiments above: the coupe lends itself to a spoiler more than the roadster, but the latter already has a distinctive ducktail-like lip on the boot

Oh boy, I feel like I'm going to upset a lot of people with my plans for the roadster...

Thing with plans is: if done properly and with quality materials to a decent standard, you may split opinions but the work is usually respected hugely. Create a cardboard abomination with ill-fitted items and the sharks may start circling

For one, I’m curious to see what you’ve got planned now!

My indicators were professionally done, but, still looked wank when finished!!! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

But at least I tried

[ref]jock156[/ref], let’s call that the exception to the rule then  Besides: you’ll never know if you never try
