As above.

Looking to see what they look like. If its too dark at the rear?
Plus i am fed up of rear lights dazzling my eyes, even with a auto dim mirror!

You need a E85 roadster with a wind diffuser as the mesh darkens it just that extra bit

Problem sorted :poke:

I have 100% black on my rear window on a roadster and it's fine mate. It's just like looking through sunglasses.!!!

Sorry, i meant for the blackness of the window to the darkness of the car. I don't want it looking like a van, if you get what i mean.
I will probably go limo darkness my self, but will go around 75% if it looks too dark against the Monaco blue

Just a thought - make the rear as dark as u want, then the side quarter windows slightly lighter

Did this on a shogun I used to own, so people couldn't see in the boot area, but didn't look like a pimp wagon by the time you got to the drivers door as by then was a nice soft tint

Good idea. I would perfer a subtle hint on the side as it can go from a 100% tint to nothing.

I'd recommend 50% on the front windows, gives it a nice look and you can see out of it no problem. Is illegal thou.!!!
Had my last 4 cars with tinted fronts and never been stopped..

Can anyone recommend any good window tinters around west mids/ shropshire area. I have been to tintcentres in Wolverhampton before. Its ok but you can never get rid of the bubbles near the edging of the window which frustrates me!

Your colour here mate with tints

Hmmm that does look very nice. Definately getting it done after Xmas. Just deciding where.
I had a quote today off Eclipse tints for the rear 3 windows £249!!!

I paid £100 for my tints, I'd recommend shopping around and haggle a little. All these tint company's will drop the price a little for cash.

I have found one by me for £130 which i find reasonable. That £249 quote from eclipse was a 30% discount offer as well

Right then, change of mind. As i want to keep the OEM look of the E86 does anybody know or have pictures of their E86 with factory fitted tints on them. I was told BMW use two different shades now a darker tint for the 4x4 range and a lighter colour (sun protection glass) on the other ranges. Any ideas please?

I have my self booked in for 20% light for next week so could be changed in time if this is not correct. :driving:
